Politics
Politics is the study of how governments operate and the ways in which people participate in political decision making. The course also allows you to investigate different political ideas, both traditional and modern.

Progression: A variety of degree courses and many careers. Skills of analysis and argument and excellent communication skills are highly valued by universities and employers. Careers include law, civil service, commerce, journalism, management and teaching.
Teaching Methods: Seminars, debates, presentations, group activities. Educational Visits – Houses of Parliament, the Supreme Court, Politics Conference in London. Also, some of our students arrange to shadow an MP or do other related work experience.
